Peak season:
If Hawaii is on your bucket list then you’ll be searching for cheap flights to Honolulu, the state capital and the archipelago’s most populous city. Situated on the eastern side of the island of Oahu, Honolulu means ‘sheltered bay’. It is home to the most famous beach in the world, Waikiki, a 2.4 km stretch of white sand which is the centre of the tourist industry. Here you’ll find more than enough highrise hotels, surfers, malls, restaurants to keep you busy and accommodated. You’ll quickly find that Honolulu has plenty of other things to see and do too.
Popular attractions include: Pearl Harbour, Hanauma Bay Nature Reserve, Koko Crater Trail, Manoa Falls and whale watching (from late December to early May). Honolulu’s peak season runs from mid December to midApril when flight tickets and accommodation are at a premium. It enjoys warm temperatures all year round so it is a particularly attractive holiday destination for travellers from the US, Europe and Asia wanting to escape their cold winters. Surf season (late November to April) also attracts large numbers of visitors to the island to watch some of the world’s best waves challenge the world’s best surfers. The summer months of June to September are busy with families taking advantage of the school holidays.
Off season:
April to June and September to mid-December are low season months and great times to book flights to Honolulu to take advantage of discounted hotel rates and fewer tourists. But even during the off season, temperatures still average around 26C so it definitely won’t be cold.

If weather is an important factor for your trip to Honolulu, use this chart to help with planning. For those seeking warmer temperatures, August is the ideal time of year to visit, when temperatures reach an average of 28.0 C. Travellers hoping to avoid the cold should look outside of January, when temperatures are typically at their lowest (around 23.0 C).
As far as weather goes, it is usually great all year round. With over 270 sunshine days a year there is no bad time to book flights to Honolulu. The average annual rainfall is about 500mm, falling mainly between October and March, so if you want a guarantee of dry weather and the best deals, plan to visit April, May or September. In saying that, the end of April and the first week of May is Golden Week in Japan and many Japanese tourists visit Honolulu during this time. To avoid disappointment book flight tickets and hotels several months in advance or avoid this period altogether.

The crew, food, and entertainment were amazing. The leg room/distance from the row in front of you seems smaller than other airlines which is very uncomfortable.
