They were short handed with a entire Airport and Hawaiian terminal with people Wondering what to do. They had no pilots for future flights, since all planes were grounded and could get us on a standby flight the next day, at 1pm but my party would not be sitting together including my 8 year old son. Customer service for Hawaiian/ Alaska Air was non existent even though we were patiently waiting for 8 hours. Basically canceled our flight, rent a car, hotel and entire vacation. What a waste of a vacation. We stayed home instead.
