Our rental experience was a complete nightmare when it came to getting the rental its self. The first time we showed up we had called ahead to make sure that paying in cash was not gonna be an issue but apparently with that singular location, Our rental experience was a complete nightmare when it came to getting the rental it’s self. The first time we showed up we had called ahead to make sure that paying in cash was not gonna be an issue but apparently with that singular location it is an issue and it requires to have an open credit card and not cash only unless you have two airline tickets now this became a huge problem because I did not have this prepared on hand. I had called prior and check the website to make sure that this wasn’t gonna be an issue and yet it was. The ladies then invited me to go to the other site down the street they couldn’t call for whatever reason to assist me but they suggested we go down there and we go down there. They do not have anything or do they have any suggestions for anything else in this whole beginning of my experience with renting a car through Alamo was absolutely garbage. The ladies laughed because this was a regular issue , which didn’t really help anything at all in the car itself was great. It was literally just the customer service experience when I did call the customer service line to get assistance. I was told multiple times have the policy worked and then when I finally asked the gentleman if he was going to assist me after I was told that he was going to be able to help with the cash/card problem. He’s straight up told me no he wasn’t going to help me and hung up the phone. The rental it’s self was great but we had to air up tires shortly after leaving.
